Our Love Story

We met in 2019 in one of the most unlikely places: Twentynine Palms, California, while both serving on active duty in the Marine Corps. After only a few weeks of knowing each other, we started dating over Memorial Day weekend, spent the summer falling in love, and eloped on Labor Day. When you know, you know, right?

Our family began to grow quickly. We welcomed our daughter, Jett, in July 2020, and her arrival made it clear that we wanted a life with more time together and fewer separations. We pursued higher education, planned for the future, and were blessed again when our son, Riot, was born in July 2022.

That same year marked a major turning point. We closed the chapter on military life, packed up our tiny apartment, and took a leap of faith that landed us in Kentucky. We traded base housing for the keys to our first home in Louisville, ready to build the next chapter of our lives side by side and hand in hand.

Life hasn’t unfolded without its share of trial and error, yet we can humbly say we’ve been incredibly fortunate. We’ve navigated academics, home ownership, career changes, and the beautiful chaos of parenthood, all while the world around us shifted and stretched.

Through every season, our love and our commitment to the family we’re building has remained steadfast.

With gratitude at the center of everything, we invite our loved ones to join us in celebrating our journey. As we reach our seventh wedding anniversary, we’re mindful of the so‑called “seven‑year itch,” a time when many couples face challenges in connection and closeness. We don’t take lightly that marriage requires intention and effort.

This celebration is our way of honoring the path that brought us here and choosing one another, once again, surrounded by the people who have supported us along the way.
